Embase is one of the largest and most comprehensive sources of medical literature, including millions of journal entries and conference abstracts, as well as content not available in MEDLINE.

  • Sign up for the Newsletter to stay up to date, as well as to participate in upcoming and review past webinars.
  • While you are within the NKUA network, do not forget to register in the database (follow the Sign-in link that you will find on the database page) so that you can have a more personalized user experience and save searches and results as well as receive notifications, news, announcements, RSS feeds, etc. 
    • Note that if you already have an account in another Elsevier service/database, it is not necessary to create a new one in Scopus in order to have access to personalized services. You can use your existing account to access the database without registering again.

Please note! Access is provided either by physical presence on the premises of the University of Athens and use of a PC with a network address (IP address) that is within the range of its network addresses, or remotely by using the user's institutional account at the University of Athens and identifying him/her through the Central User Authentication Service of the University of Athens (more information at the link: https://www-en.lib.uoa.gr/access.html).
