Definition – Access
A database is a collection of data or information, in digital form, organized and stored in a computer system that facilitates search and obtainment.
Full access to bibliographic databases is provided through the NKUA IP network and it could be:

PubMed
PubMed database provides free access to literature in the field of biomedicine and the life sciences. It comprises millions of citations from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include links to full text content from PubMed Central.
PubMed Central
PubMed Central (PMC) was developed and is maintained by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at U.S.National Library of Medicine (NLM). It is a free full-text archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature.
