The Library extends over two levels.
Located on the ground floor are:
- A museum of old and rare books. It includes the Papoulakeios collection.
- A Lecture Hall for events
- Auxiliary spaces (foyer, restrooms)
Located on the 1st floor are:
- Reading room
- Study Rooms (Individual and Group)
- Open stacks of book and journal collections
- Workstations (PCs) with access to the internet and the information sources of the NKUA Library and Information Centre
- Lockers for temporary storage of personal belongings
